Senior Pastor

Phil Harden serves as the Lead Pastor of Altamahaw Baptist Church, where he is passionate about helping people grow in obedience to God’s Word and become effective disciple-makers in their homes, church, and community. With a heart for families and a deep care for people, Phil desires to shepherd the church toward fulfilling the Great Commission.

Phil’s preaching is expositional, rooted in Scripture, and aimed at helping people see the truth of God’s Word clearly and live it faithfully. Before coming to Altamahaw, he served in youth ministry, college ministry, and family ministry, experiences that continue to shape his love for discipleship across every generation.

He holds a B.S. in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University and an M.A. in Biblical Exposition from Liberty University. Phil is grateful to serve Altamahaw and walk alongside the church as they follow Christ together.
